Atletico Madrid lost the match against Arsenal recently. They missed several chances and there is no doubt about it either. This is the reason why they are probably angry at the moment. Atletico Madrid is said to have lodged a complaint at the moment because the team was not given hot water. Atletico Madrid squad had tot train in the horrendous rainy weather of Britain of course. This was a problem for both the teams of course. At the same time, due to a plumbing issue, they were not able to get hot water afterwards to shower. This actually affected both the teams of course. This is the reason why Atletico Madrid is said to be going to lodge a complaint against Arsenal at the moment.

The Gunners were not performing that great at first. However, they changed their tempo and suddenly started to score a lot of goals in quick successions.
There are a lot of UEFA regulations which the teams have to follow of course. Arsenal are said to have not followed the hot water regulation. This is why Atletico Madrid rightfully lodged a complaint. The regulation of UEFA in the UEFA Champions League matches states that teams must actually make sure to have hot water for showers for the teams. The Spanish media already reported to Simeone about the issue even before they lost the match of course. They talked about how such a big team does not have such facilities for hot water. They are literally hosting a UEFA Champions League match as well. There is already a lot of anger among the Atletico Madrid players at the moment. Another reason was also due to the fact that they trained in the rain as well.

This actually forced the Atletico Madrid players to also force themselves into the bus. It was actually also a 45 minute ride to the hotel too. They were literally in disbelief because of the fact that it happened in a stadium like the Emirates. Another outlet talked about how Atletico Madrid were angry. They want to see where they stand and give their everything to try and win the match as well. Another outlet talked about how Atletico Madrid does not understand how a stadium like Emirates and a competition like the UEFA Champions League does not have something basic. Some outlets did not care much. They said that it not really a big deal to be honest. They said that the Atletico Madrid players are going to be better off anyway.

I think Atletico Madrid lost the match in a horrendous way. Yes, it was bad that the Gunners did not follow UEFA regulations to be honest. However, at the end of the day both the teams had the same treatment. Arsenal won and Atletico Madrid lost the match.
