How to boost extra oxytocin in the body: Some tips to follow

We all know that oxytocin is an essential hormone in the human body that is usually associated with women.

But, did you know that you can produce even more amounts of oxytocin by simply doing some simple daily life activities? Yes, it is true. As women, we don’t just have to feel the effects of oxytocin post-pregnancy, we can get the effects even before we are married.

Says naturopathic doctor Corina Dunlap on boosting oxytocin in the body,

This hormone is most often associated with childbirth, breastfeeding, and sex/orgasms, but there are many other ways as I’ve outlined above that can help us experience more of oxytocin’s benefits.

Ways to start producing more oxytocin in our bodies through alternative methods

Here is how we can produce the hormone without having to become pregnant and through better alternative methods.

Listening to music

Firstly, listening to music is the best way to increase the production of oxytocin in the body. So, go out there and enjoy a musical session with your friends.

Getting or giving massages

Additionally, you can also opt to get a massage from a friend, family member, or a therapist or you can give a special someone a massage session. This will also release the love hormone.

Cooking and eating together

Furthermore, you can also enjoy a cooking session with your loved ones. Ask everyone to participate and then enjoy your homemade meal together.

Hug each other

Hugging each other for ten or more seconds instantly increases the production of oxytocin in the body.

Do meditation before a big event

Lastly, engaging yourself in meditations before any big day or event will release oxytocin which in turn will make you happy and calm so that you become confident.

Thus, these are some of the ways in which you can release oxytocin into your body and enjoy a happy and healthier life.
