Chelsea Open Talks to SignBayern Munich Star
Chelsea are moving quickly in the transfer market. The reports from Germany say the Blues have opened talks to sign Bayern Munich centre-back Kim Min-jae. The 29 year old South Korean star could cost around ยฃ26-34 million this summer.
Who is Kim Min-jae?
Kim Min-jae was born in South Korea on 15 November 1996. He stands tall at 6ft 3in and is known for his strong tackling, speed and reading of the game. He started his career in Asia before moving to Europe.
At Napoli he became a star and helped the club win the Serie A title in 2023. Bayern Munich paid โฌ50 million which is a record for an Asian player to bring him to Germany that same year. He has played over 100 games for Bayern, winning the Bundesliga and German Super Cup. The fans call him โThe Monsterโ for his tough defending. His contract runs until 2028, but he is not playing as much as he wants right now.
Why Chelsea Want Him
