Diarrhea

Diarrhea can take place if we are constantly anxious or stressed which can lead to frequent visits to the toilet to pass out loose stools.

Indigestion and Nausea

We can experience indigestion or nausea if our fight or flight response is activated when having our meals.

Dry Mouth

The sympathetic nervous system reduces the production of saliva in our mouths leading to a dry mouth when experiencing anxiety or stress.

Overactive Bladder

Overactive bladders are a sign of anxiety and stress that also gives us the feeling of using the toilet more often and wakes us up at nights as well.

Cramping

Cramping is caused when blood flow increases towards the big muscle groups and brain rather than to the stomach. This can cause us immense pain that can keep us awake during the night or day.

Thus, these are some of the signs and symptoms of stomach problems when experiencing anxiety or stress in individuals. It is imperative that we be aware whenever we are facing such problems.
